It’s never been a better time to be an anime fan. Myriad streaming services that cater exclusively towards anime, regular theatrical screenings for the medium’s biggest movies, and passionate video game tie-ins have pushed the passionate animated medium to unprecedented heights. There’s a ferocious appetite and it’s encouraging to see more grandiose conventions come together that give fans a dedicated space to share their love and celebrate their enthusiasm for all things anime. Critical Role’s violent, Dungeons & Dragons animated series “The Legend of Vox Machina” is growing its party with an army of talented voice actors, such as Stephanie Beatriz, David Tennant, Tony Hale and many more.

The guest actors will give life to many of the side characters from Critical Role’s popular Dungeons & Dragons web series, which is now launching as a Prime Video animated series on Jan. 28. In the original Critical Role campaign, dungeon master and creator Matthew Mercer voiced all of the non-player characters, but he’ll now get some help from the A-list talent.

The guest stars include Beatriz as Lady Kima, Hale as Sir Fince, Tennant as General Krieg, Dominic Monaghan as Archibald Desnay, Stephen Root as Professor Anders, Gina Torres as Keeper Yennen, Felicia Day as Captain of Emon and Indira Varma as Lady Allura Vysoren.

A new episode of the Marvel Studios animated series “Marvel’s What If…?” has hit Disney+, and with it come questions as to who’s voicing which characters. The show marks Marvel Studios’ first-ever animated series and finds Jeffrey Wright’s The Watcher character narrating various scenarios in the multiverse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that play out in ways that are different than we’ve seen before. The show’s first episode considered what would happen if Peggy Carter was injected with super soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers, offering an alternate take on the events of Marvel’s 2011 film “Captain America: The First Avenger.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man season 3 is heading our way next month in the form of Spider-Man: Maximum Venom, and we cannot wait. The Emmy Award-nominated series has been gone too long!

This season promises to bring us the exact amount of Venom we need in our lives: yes, maximum. The maximum amount. If it makes good on this one single promise, we fail to see how we could possibly be disappointed.

Atlus has released an English language trailer for the highly anticipated Persona 5 Royal at this year’s E3. This new trailer provides a glimpse at some of the new features, places, cutscenes, abilities and story beats. Watch the new trailer below and leave a comment.

Disney Xd has ordered a third season of the Emmy-nominated animated series Marvel’s Spider-Man with a Spring 2020 premiere, according to Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, programming and general manager, Disney Xd. In the third season, titled Marvel’s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom, Peter Parker’s alter ego is pushed to his breaking point when the always-volatile Venom summons a global threat from its alien home world.

From the mind of Emmy Winner Matt Schrader comes Blockbuster, “a six-part docu-narrative podcast dramatizing the friendship of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg as they were making their formative films, Star Wars and Jaws, with the help of composer of John Williams.”

The podcast series was created with intensive research by Schrader, who allows fans of the directors and composer to be a fly on the wall in the time that their careers were about to skyrocket and history was being made.

I know many people who would rejoice at the fact that The Thundercats would be returning to TV again. To see Lion-o, wielding the Sword of Omens once more, vanquishing Mum-Ra and his minions would be fantastic. I know I’d be looking forward to it and when Cartoon Network told us just that I was intrigued. Right up until I saw what was in store for us with the upcoming Thundercats Roar!

So what do you think of that key art? The minute I saw the artwork for this I wanted to punch someone. Every time I look at it something inside me dies a little more. The man responsible for this is Victor Courtright and lets see what he has to say about his new show in the video below:

ThunderCats fans, prepare to have your prayers answered / heart torn from your chest [delete as appropriate], as Entertainment Weekly has revealed that Lion-o, Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, Snarf, and WilyKit and WilyKat are set to return to the small screen next year for a brand new series entitled ThunderCats Roar.

As the outlet reports, the new show will retain the same premise as the classic 80s cartoon, but will lean heavily on comedy – as you may be able to tell by the first poster…

“I think the world that they built lends itself really well to comedy because of how silly and crazy and outlandish those ideas are and some of those settings are,” states producer Victor Courtright. “But at the same time, it wouldn’t be ThunderCats if it didn’t have super cool action elements because that’s what people came back to. It’s very much something that we want to lean on.

The ThunderCats are coming back. Cartoon Network has greenlighted ThunderCats Roar, an all-new series from Warner Bros Animation that’s set to premiere next year. Production is underway.

Warner Bros. Animation is developing a new ThunderCats animated series for Cartoon Network called ThunderCats Roar, and it's definitely not was I was expecting. I am a huge fan of the original ThunderCats series but what they are doing here definitely isn't what I want in a ThunderCats series. ThunderCats was a badass show, and although it's different, I'm not seeing anything really badass about this.
