Born in Greenwich, London in 1988 Jem Karto is the youngest of three siblings.
Jem has been working in the industry since graduating from Ravensbourne University in 2011, where he won Best Director at the Ravensbourne Awards 2011. Since then he has been crafting his skills working on feature films, Music promos, commercials and social branded content. Inspired by the stories and scripts written, Jem loves to bring words from page to existence, giving them life, substance and soul. Collaboration is a huge part of filmmaking and Jem likes to get inspired by the very talented people he works with to help elevate each individual project. Jem's particular style of smooth and slick movements along with strong natural colour palette and refined composition will take any project to a different imagining.
