Sebastian Klinger is an award-winning Swiss cinematographer and producer. He lensed numerous projects for Student Academy Award winner Freddy Macdonald, among which "Sew Torn", a short film executive produced by Peter Spears ("Nomadland") and acquired by Searchlight Pictures that qualified for the 2020 Academy Awards. Together with Macdonald, he also shot multiple music videos for three time Grammy winner Fantastic Negrito and, most recently, the critically acclaimed feature film "Sew Torn" starring Eve Connolly ("Vikings"), K Callan ("Knives Out") and Caroline Goodall ("Schindler's List"), which premiered at SXSW 2024, headlined on the Piazza Grande at the Locarno Film Festival and screened at Camerimage 2024.
Klinger's other credits also include short films "The Station In-Between" starring Carlos Leal ("Casino Royale") as well as numerous commercials and web series. As lead visual effects unit Switzerland he contributed to the Netflix series "Contigo Capitan" and was part of the ASC Vision Mentorship program under guidance of David Darby, ASC.
