Arisael Rivera

Arisael Rivera was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, New York. Arisael was first introduced to theatre in the fifth grade after being cast as Charlie Brown in "A Charlie Brown Christmas." He has continued to pursue theater and performing ever since. He received his MFA in Acting from the New School in NYC. Arisael has a strong passion for collaboration and creating character. Allen Adams of The Main Edge wrote after watching him perform, "The energy level never waivers...The tumbling, high-octane joie de vivre of Arisael Rivera's Ned Alleyn." Cotter Smith, of "Mindhunter", and a professor at The New School, had this to say about him, "His serious work ethic was always coupled with an infectious sense of humor. As important as his dedication to the work was the love and respect he earned from his peers, which was always a palpable presence in the room." Arisael has pursued his creative endeavors through theatre, film, stand-up comedy, spoken word poetry, play writing and devised works. When he's not performing you can most likely find him re-watching "The Office" while nursing a bag of Cheetos.
