Natalie Kerman was born in Tehran/Iran. At a young age she moved to Sweden and after living in other countries for some years, she chose Spain for living. She did her first short movie in 2010 in Madrid/Spain, named "Sus ojos/Her eyes," with he collaboration of Enrique San Francisco and Jorge Sanz, selected in various national and international festivals. "La melodia/The melody" with Miky Molina, was the winner of the "Award for Best Short Film at the Florence Film Festival" (Italy) and also in Croatia, at the "Kraft Festival".
In 2011 she made a pilot for TV series named "Plot Point".
In 2012 she made a video art in Tangier/Morocco with Romina Sanchez, "This too shall pass. It won the "Best Video Art Award at the Naoussa International FilmFestival" (Greece), and "The 2015 Indie Gathering Star Award" in the USA. She produced another video art "A sunny day" that was selected at the "Movie Screen Festival" in Los Angeles and "Cortos con N" in Spain and also at the "Milan Vod Filmfest" in Italy. A Sunny Day, another video art that won the "Award for the Best Micro Experimental ShortFilm at the Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes" in France. In 2018 she wrote her first feature film named "La musica de la vida/The music of life". Later on, with permission of Damian J. Fuentes, who is the writer of the book "Matallana" (based on a true story), she wrote another screenplay. She developed some of his notes for a TV series called "Celulas".
She has written another TV series named "My life as an artist". In 2020 and 2021 she wrote two scripts for feature films "Nuestros dias/Our days"and "El cielo en sombras/Shadows on heaven''.
In 2022 she wrote "A secret sky" and three other short movies related to Persian poets, Rumi and OmarKhayyam.
In 2024 she came back with another spiritual work named Circle that has been selected to the Lift Off Filmaker and SamhainBaucogna in Morocco.
