Mini Bio (1)
Since 2007 a resident of the southern French department of the Aude-Pyrénées, a.k.a. Cathar Country, Jeanne D'Août is not only an author, but also a tour guide in southern France and tour organizer in Greece, and a passionate photographer and producer at PanOccitania Media. Since early childhood she enjoyed studying the lost history of civilization, the first centuries of Christianity, Gnosis and Mysticism. With her adventure novels, which were published worldwide in English, she has already drawn many people to beautiful Occitania, France, with its many mysteries, forgotten history and stunning Lord of the Ring-like landscapes.
In 2012 she was interviewed for a now world famous TV documentary called "Himmler and the Holy Grail", giving her a page on IMDb.
In 2019 she was involved as a guide for the successful History Channel documentary series 'The Lost Relics of the Knights Templar' (her appearance is in episode four).
She has been a guest on many radio shows in Australia and the US, but also on a live TV Talk Show in Las Vegas in 2013. There are several interviews planned for 2020 and 2021, as well as a book tour and a retreat to Santorini, which will be based on her novel about the Atlantis myth.
In the Summer of 2015, Jeanne became a member of the ITW (International Thriller Writers Organization). Following the advice of New York Times bestselling author Steve Berry, her first book - now renamed "The Forbidden Relic" - and its sequel, "The Eye of Ra", were published on Kindle eBook in 2016. The third book of her Time Travel Trilogy is called "The Ringing Rocks of Atlantis". It has been published on 1st May 2020 on Kindle and eBook.
Jeanne has worked together with the well-known American filmmaker Frank LaLoggia, writing a synopsis for a possible screenplay for her first book "White Lie ~ The Quest for The Forbidden Relic", which is available on Amazon in paperback and as eBook together with its sequels, "The Eye of Ra" and "The Ringing Rocks of Atlantis" on Amazon (see www.jeannedaout.com for all the direct links).
It has always been the intention of Jeanne to have the story of "White Lie ~ The Quest for The Forbidden Relic" adapted to become a screenplay; to create TV mini series or a fast moving adventure film with a deeper message. The topics of the first book, The Forbidden Relic, are: The story of the real Indiana Jones: relic hunter Otto Rahn (1904-1939), the forbidden history of 1st century Christianity and Gnosis, the secrets of the Knights Templar, the strange enigma of Rennes-le-Chateau and the forgotten Biblical treasure of Occitania.
As the two other sequels explore equally interesting mysteries - the Moses enigma and the Myth of Atlantis - Jeanne is hoping that all three books will one day be picked up as a basis for a movie or a TV mini series.
