Since his dot-com days at Thunder House Online Marketing Communications
Nicholas Iandolo has provided creative writing as a professional writer
in one capacity or another for organizations, as a freelancer, and for
himself as an author. Iandolo has spent years working as a copywriter, marketing and
communications writer, and a PR writer for companies and clients. He
has authored a wealth of creative copywriting pieces, press releases,
advertorials, and media marketing campaigns (print, broadcast, and web)
to name a few. And since 2003, Iandolo has been very active in screenwriting, literary
writing, freelance writing, teaching, and journalism.
Nick Iandolo, a resident of the wonderful town of Dedham Mass since 2008, wears many hats both for Dedham Television and for his own enterprises as an author, producer, director, actor/host, and a freelance journalist.
For Dedham Television Nick keeps the online world of social media up-to-date on the latest and greatest happenings with Dedham TV! He Tweets, Facebooks, blogs, and much more about the shows and events that the studio both produces and covers.
He is also the producer, writer, director and host of one of Dedham TV's most uproarious shows, 'Nick's Sci-Fi Corner' (NSFC for short). A mash-up of the old SNL 'Wayne's World' skit, 'Mystery Science Theater 3000,' and 'Conan O'Brien' with a few Internet memes in the style of 'Overly Attached Girlfriend', 'Gangnam-Style', and 'Ask A Ninja' thrown in for good measure. NSFC is the goto sci-fi/fantasy comedy skit, news, and talk show for all things genre-related.
Nick also produces two other shows for Dedham TV: 'NSFC Update!' (a news update short companion show to 'Nick's Sci-Fi Corner'), and 'I've Got A Book For You!' (an educational show that focuses on genre-related literature like Tolkien's The Hobbit for kids, inspiring them to love reading as much as he does).
Nick is the author of both non-fiction and science fiction books. His internationally selling books 'Cut The Crap and Write That Damn Screenplay!' and 'Cut The Crap and Pitch That Damn Screenplay!' have been endorsed by screenwriters, producers, and filmmakers. Nick's new epic sci-fi eBook series 'NLV' (a.k.a. 'New Las Vegas') has been a great success and continues to build a big following of fans since its debut at the 2012 San Diego ComicCon.
He is also a journalist for Motif Magazine and a co-host for one of its shows on the MoTiV web-channel called 'Take 2'. Co-hosted by Nick and Rosemary Pacheco this is a hot new monthly movie review show where Nick and Rosemary go at like "Siskel and Ebert"!
Finally, Nick is a screenwriter and producer of both short films and feature length screenplays. He has recently produced a short film for the Rhode Island Film Collaborative called 'The Elevator Script', soon to be released in the upcoming 2014 film festival season.
