Brian Quintero is a Canadian-Costa Rican actor and filmmaker born in Toronto, Ontario, and graduated from Seneca College's Acting for Camera & Voice program.
Brian has achieved notable success in various areas of the film industry, including his appearance as an actor in several popular TV shows and films, including 'Billy the Kid' (MGM/EPIX), 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' (CBS) 'Good Sam' (CBS) 'Designated Survivor' (ABC), and 'Beauty & the Beast' (CW) to name a few. Additionally, he has written, produced, and acted in the award-winning short film 'Narcissistic.'
As a filmmaker, Brian has directed a music video for the rock band Living Dead Girl, titled 'Poltergeist' and several short film projects, including 'Days Gone Bye' and 'Walk Away,' which had sold-out world premieres. His recent horror-dark comedy 'Oldtimers,' which he wrote and directed, won multiple awards, including the Silver Audience Award for Best Canadian Short Film at the Fantasia Film Festival in 2022, as well as the Youth Jury Prize Award and the Best Audience Choice Award for Best Short Film at the San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival in the same year.
In addition to his creative work, Brian is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the film industry. Through his film company Dead Mariachi Films, he aims to support the BIPOC community by championing on-screen representation and introducing fresh stories to the cinematic culture.
