Victor Gangl

Austrian born composer Victor Gangl lives and works in Vienna. Since his early childhood his interest in music and its different genres has grown immensely and he has learned to play various instruments. He studied with Jazz guru Karl Ratzer or violinist and Latin Grammy Nominee Florian Wilscher. He has composed music for national and international TV documentaries which were aired at TV channels like ZDF, Arte, NDR, BR, ORF, SRF to name but a few. as well as music for cinema documentaries which were awarded at international film festivals. Besides composing music for motion picture Victor writes and produces production & background music for radio & TV channel networks and commercial music for internationally re-known brands such as Leica, Unesco, City of Vienna, H&M and ÖBB. As a songwriter and music producer he had several chart entries into the Austrian Single & iTunes charts.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Victor Gangl always looks for the right note out of the right instrument and to bring the right sound to the right moment. "Music is what feelings sound like." is a proverb that has been handed down from generation to generation, and this is what Victor Gangl has made his motto for life.
