Xandar is a refugee from Eastern European, having moved to the United States at an early age. He was privileged to study under a number of brilliant mentors prior to his recent return to the film industry after a 5 year hiatus between the years of 2017-2021. Xandar's most recent short film as writer & director, "Worth Fighting For (2021)" has been an official selection of 17 film festivals with 14 total awards thus far. Additionally, his horror / drama screenplay "Dear Agony" has been the selection of 20 festivals with an impressive 17 "Best Screenplay" awards.
Xandar has worked as a storyteller & script doctor, serving as a go-to advisor within his community. He served as the script doctor for the project, "A Tale of Earl Gray", opening up the doors to bring on actors Will Rothhaar ("Battle: Los Angeles") and Amiee Conn ("La La Land"). For the Violent Pink Productions TV series, "The Game", Xandar was invited to offered feedback for the Episode One (1) table read and brought on cinematographer, Merlin Showalter ("In the Same Direction: Jeff Pifher & Socrates' Trial") onto the project. His creative endeavors do not stop at just filmmaking, as he is the head creative drive behind an ongoing indie comic project titled, "Dragon Ball EndTime".
