Jordan Lewis is a media composer and multi-instrumentalist. Originally from Boston, he currently resides in Los Angeles and is busy pursuing his own creative endeavors with 5k Music as well as collaborating with such composers as Tyler Bates, Tim Williams, Didier Lean Rachou, Anton Sanko, and David Robbins. Jordan's work as a composer, orchestrator, session player, and mixer can be heard on HBO, ABC, Disney, Shudder, USA, Discovery, FOX, FX, NatGeo, MTV, YouTube Premium, History, Netflix, PBS, Pivot, and more.
Notable projects in recent years include the all acoustic/americana score Jordan composed for When to Die, a Civil War documentary, and G Funk (YouTube Premium), a documentary examining the musical, social, and cultural circumstances which gave birth to a new era of hip-hop. Jordan also composed additional music for the 2015 PBS documentary, E.O. Wilson: Of Ants and Men, Emmy nominated for Outstanding Music & Sound.
Jordan's collaborative relationship with A-List composer Tyler Bates has earned him composing credits on Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (Universal), Day Shift (Netflix), Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (Marvel/Disney Imagineering), Stumptown (ABC),The Purge (USA), and Creepshow (AMC/Shudder).
As an artist & multi-instrumentalist, Jordan has toured, performed, and recorded with various bands and solo artists including Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), Warren G, David Hasselhoff, Chamberlin, Super Doppler Wars, and The Friendly Males. In 2022 Jordan will begin production on a series of EP's which collectively highlight his variety of stylistic interests.
