Simone Kisiel is an honors graduate of NYU Tisch and has been an award-winning filmmaker for over ten years. Her feminist horror anthology 'Bugs: A Trilogy' won Best Director at the Women in Horror Film Festival 2018 and is now streaming on VOD platforms alongside her horror/comedy found footage feature 'Housed.'
Since founding Magic Dog Productions in 2015, Simone has produced several award winning self-funded and client commissioned short narrative fiction films including 'Good Intentions' (ShortsTV), 'The Bet,' 'Tartarus,' 'Recovery' (ShortsTV), 'Book,' 'Slaying Song Tonight' and 'No Peeking Cindy.' Also a documentary filmmaker, Simone won the Best Director awards for her environmental documentary short, 'It's Good Business,' from The Global Impact Film Festival 2019 and the Environmental Film Festival 2022.
Simone has also shot, directed and edited video content for brands such as American Express, Microsoft, Google, Intel, Dell, MasterCard, Maybelline and Clé de Peau Beauté and for corporate clients and directed celebrities including Ted Danson, Dakota Fanning, Ella Ballinska, Diana Silvers, Rosario Dawson and Venus Williams.
