Melissa Arcak was born in Düsseldorf in 1989 and initially studied German language and literature as well as art history at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. After completing her master's degree in German studies, she began studying film at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund in 2017, where she mainly shot fictional genre films. Not only screenwriting and directing, but also post-production are among her focal points. Including editing, color grading and compositing.
