Brian Colin Foley was born on July 1, 1987 in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. He attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he earned a degree in International Affairs, but a love of movies led him to pursue acting courses over political science. After graduating from JMU, Brian studied at the Prague Film School, under the invaluable guidance of Nancy Bishop, CSA. As a result of his studies in Prague, he was cast in Bong Joon Ho's contemporary Sci-Fi cult classic Snowpiercer (2013) right out of film school. Shortly after that, Brian began auditioning in New York City, where he studied under the late actor, mentor, and friend Clark Middleton, who helped him hone his on-camera craft.
Brian wrote, directed, and starred in the comedy Chronicles of Gnarnia: The Rex Chadwick Story (2020), which was recognized with multiple awards by the likes of the Los Angeles Film Awards, New York International Film Awards, Indie Short Fest, and many others. After collecting numerous film and TV credits, he was cast in the true crime drama Miranda's Victim (2023), which is set to open the 38th edition of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Brian and his wife, Emily, reside with their two beloved dogs in New Jersey.
