Alfredo was born June 9, 1987 in Tijuana, Mexico. His most significant recent work includes the short films: By the End of the Night (2019), featured in Habana and Huesca film festivals; La Leyenda de Juan Soldado (2017), selected in the Stiges
and Sao Paulo film festivals, among others.
He was selected by Berlinale Talents 2020, a platform to showcase emerging talents created by the Berlin International Film Festival. He also participated in Guadalajara Talents 2015, a similar program by the Guadalajara International Film Festival. Guest juror for the International Shortfilm Selection for the 9th edition of the UABC International Film Festival in 2018.
