Eric Plust
- Music Department
- Composer
Eric Plust is a film composer/orchestrator based in Los Angeles. His
music has been featured in various independent films, national ad
campaigns, popular TV shows on major networks, and even special
broadcasts like the Grammys. His musical journey began at the age of 9,
when as a young multi-instrumentalist his knack for creating music
turned his hobby into an active interest, and soon a pursuit.
After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Eric moved out to LA and quickly immersed himself in the commercial world. He started writing for various production houses, where he wrote on campaigns for major brands like Capital One, Nike, Google, and many more. During that time he and another composer were commissioned to write a piece for the 2013 Grammy campaign, which was used not only to advertise the show but was played during the awards ceremony itself.
Eventually he made his way into the TV world, supplying music for world class libraries that handle a wealth of shows on various major networks. His music has been used in a variety of shows on the CW, Lifetime, Biography, and others, with many more placements still yet to be aired. When he isn't writing, he dabbles in cinematic sound design, actively studies the art of engineering, and records his own personal projects.
