Bhattacharya won spots in the Fox Writers Initiative Writing Program in 2009/10 and in NBC Writer's On The Verge in 2010/11 which launched her career with writing partner, Ali Laventhol.
Bhattacharya is the CEO & Founder of TV & Film writing school, Script Anatomy, founded in 2011. An unprecedented number of the school's alums have become successful writers in the industry selling TV series and movies, staffed at every level in the industry on Severance, Dead to Me, House of Dragons, The Dropout, The Wonder Years reboot, The Lincoln Lawyer, The Handmaid's Tale, Mrs. America, Grace and Frankie, This is Us, Vida, and have also created The Gordita Chronicles and Selena.
