Luciana Baseggio

Luciana is a cinematographer from Brazil who shot several projects in Brazil, South America and Europe, including the features "Fogaréu", that premiered at Berlinale in 2022 and "Pasajeras", that premiered also in 2022 at the Curitiba International Film Festival. "Continent", from director Davi Pretto has been recently premiered at the 41o Filmfest Munchen and have already won prizes such as the World Cinema Fund (audience design) during pre-production. She has a feature film and a tv series in post-production. Besides her work on features, she has shot several short films and commercials for which she has received awards and participated on Film Festivals with. She was also one of the 16 cinematographers in the world chosen to be a part of the Camera Studio at the Berlinale Talents Program in 2020.

Luciana holds a master degree from the European Master Viewfinder MA and an undergraduate degree in Cinema, and is one of the founders of the Brazilian collective of women, trans and non-binary people working in cinematography, founded in 2016 to further discuss gender equality in the field.
