Storm Reid has known she wanted to be an actress since she was just three years old. She landed her first feature film role opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, and Paul Giamatti in the Academy Award winning film 12 Years a Slave (2013) directed by Steve McQueen for Fox Searchlight. Storm went on to appear in White Water (2015) directed by Rusty Cundieff and TVOne's films The Summoning (2015) opposite Paula Jai Parker. At the end of 2015, she shot a leading role in the next American Girl movie Lea to the Rescue (2016), and in January 2016 her film Sleight (2016) starring Jacob Latimore and Dulé Hill premiered at Sundance, where it was picked up by Blumhouse. She was directed by Judy Greer in A Happening of Monumental Proportions (2017) opposite rapper/actor Common, Bradley Whitford, and Allison Janney. In 2018, she starred as Meg Murry in the fantasy film A Wrinkle in Time (2018). She has also appeared in the horror films Don't Let Go (2019) and The Invisible Man (2020).
