Ross Bolidai is a UK based documentary Director. His first documentary short 'No More Limits Left' won the Royal Television Society Award. He then went on to complete a Masters in Documentary Directing at the National Film and Television School where he directed 'The Harvest', a documentary short exploring the relationships forged at a nomadic land-mine clearing camp on the former Rhodesian Border. The film screened at the UNDP and The Red Cross and represented Mozambique at the Apchat International Film Festival. His Graduation film 'Coalville Gold' was an exploration of masculinity through the eyes of a young bare knuckle boxer. The film premiered at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival in 2016. His next short, 'The Journey' was a very different exploration of masculinity, this time framed around an 85 year old coming to terms with his sexuality. The film won the Channel 4 First Cut Pitch at the Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival. Ross is currently developing his first television hour for Channel 4.
