Eileen Faxas is an American actor & writer of Cuban origin who grew up next door to the Florida Everglades. She survived the alligators & a caffeinated childhood to graduate from New World School of the Arts for Musical Theatre & the University of Miami for Broadcasting & Music. She won 3 Emmy Awards for her work as a TV journalist before returning to the arts, joining a national Broadway tour, and taking leading roles in stage productions in New York, Paris & around the U.S. Eileen's TV/Film career has benefited from her real-life experience as a TV reporter. In a case of art imitating life, director Jason Reitman personally selected her to play a newswoman in the film Labor Day.
