Maxwell Peters was born in the Philippines on February 11th 1990. He was adopted by American parents came to the United States in July of 1990. He became a working artist as a child in the New York Theatre world.
Max's love for the arts lead him to attend Emerson College in Boston, MA where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Entertainment Business with a specialization in Producing. While at Emerson held internships at Nickelodeon and worked as a Production Assistant on various feature films which shot in Boston.
Upon graduation Maxwell moved out to Los Angeles to work for The Walt Disney Company in their casting and talent relations department as an assistant. While at the Disney Channel he oversaw the day-to-day management of Disney's large talent roster and casting for all of The Disney Channel and Disney XD's original movies and series. Max helped launch AwesomenessTV overseeing the the management of the Fashion and Beauty, Music, and Top Tier Talent Divisions, he later went on to produce and direct content and brand partnerships for Awesomeness, Seventeen Magazine and All Def Digital. Max also has gone on to produce and direct work for BeautyCon and PopSugar.
Max branched off to create his own production company, Ignited Entertainment with writing partner and friend Kaitlyn Gatto through which create Short Films (Lullaby), Feature Films, and Plays.
Max is the Director of Visual and Performing Arts for a Charter School Network in Chicago and continues to write for Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix.
