Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Michael P. Naughton was a
professional rock musician, poet and songwriter before he moved out to
Los Angeles. He began writing screenplays back in 1996 and started
directing short films. He is the co-founder of 13 Hands Publications, a
celebrity poetry press launched in 2005. He also published his first
crime fiction novel in 2008 and continues to write novels and
screenplays.
