Valentín Mera was born October 2nd, 1979 in Quito, Ecuador under the birth name Diana Mera and the zodiac sign of Libra; strong, independent, creative, and talented. Peruvian by nationality and Mexican by heart is how Mera feels, given he was raised in both countries.
With almost two decades in Entertainment, several music productions under his belt, a charismatic personality and a strong passionate voice he is working on a new albums and has returned to acting and hosting.

Mera has inspired thousands of people around the world by his visibility as an open LGBTQ performer at the Latin Billboard's 2012 when as Diana (prior to becoming Valentín) she kissed her same sex guest in the green carpet in front of press from all over the world.
