Born on 30 July 1984 in Izmir, Turkey. Her family is of Circassian descent.

Grown in a passionate family where her father and her brother are both lawyers. Her mother is a landscape architect.

Graduated from Izmir Turk High School followed by receiving her B.A. degree from Ege University Radio,Television and Cinema in 2006.

Surrounded by a large family of colorful people, Gupse always enjoyed comedy and making people laugh. Following her dreams after university, she worked at different TV channels and advertising agencies. She started at Ege TV and Izmir TRT as an intern. She took part at Izmir Short Film Festival as an assistant and moved to Istanbul to work at Zeynep Atakan's company Co Production. She worked at TRT Kids and was Director's assistant at "Sessiz Gece" mini series.

Her love in writing and creating content led her to work at leading advertising agencies like Young & Rubicam and Works as a copywriter.

Following her heart and comedic side; Gupse decided to write and play on short videos which became popular on the internet. This was her shot at making a bigger name and this was how she was selected as a cast for Turkey's one of the most popular comedy series called "Yalan Dunya".

She played the outrageous "Nurhayat" at Yalan Dunya for 4 seasons and was selected as the "Best Comedy Actress" at Antalya TV Awards in 2012 followed by "Best Comedy Actress" at Altin Kelebek Awards in 2013.

Always passionate about writing; Gupse wrote her own comedy movie and played the lead role. "Deliha" was a hit in 2014 and was watched by over 1,5 million people. With Deliha, Gupse received "Best Comedy Actress" award at Sadri Alisik Awards in 2015.

In 2016, she wrote and played the lead role at her next movie "Gorumce" which was watched by 1,9 million people. Her 3rd movie was "Deliha 2" as a sequel to the first one; where she became the first Turkish woman to write, direct and play. Deliha 2 was seen by more than 2 million people and became a great hit following the first one's success.

With a creative mindset, Gupse continues to write and create different contents. She published her first Children's book series in late 2019 named "Jupi ve Komsu Teyzenin Konusan Terlikleri", "Jupi ve Bakkal Amcanin Tombul Biyigi", "Jupi ve Manav Amcanin Tup turuncu Rengi". Gupse is currently working on her next children's book series with a larger team of education and children entertainment professionals.

In the summer of 2019, she started filming her latest movie "Eltilerin Savasi" which she wrote and played the lead role of "Sultan" a mean sister-in-law, jealous of her brother-in-law's new wife, Yeliz. The movie hit the theaters in late Jan 2020 and topped the box-offices until the Covid-19 lock down period in March 2020. Eltilerin Savasi was watched by 3,6 million viewers, which made it Gupse's most watched piece so far.

In the meantime, Gupse recently joined forces with her brother and cousin to set up their own creative production company called "Gipsybee Entertainment" which focuses on women empowerment in cinema industry and will be a huge platform for women who likes to create, write, play and make people laugh.

Loving people around her and being nourished from their stories; Gupse believes in the positive energy around comedy and is one of the leading ambassadors of women in comedy in Turkey. She is continuously writing and creating new content and looking forward to contributing to the creative ecosystem surrounding women in Turkey and the wider region.
