Russian documentary film director and publicist, and writer at philosophical magazine Logos.
In 1996 Yulia joined All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company as a reporter, screenwriter and director of documentaries, special reports, and commercials.
In 2000 she released her documentary about Yuri Lyubimov, Russian stage director associated with the internationally renowned Taganka Theatre.
After 2001 she worked as the editor-in-chief of the documentary format on Culture TV Channel, Channel One. She also was directing Docudrama films.
In 2004-2005 she studied Feature films and dramaturgy at the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors.
In 2006 her film "The Abduction of Europe" won the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in the Best Documentary nomination.
In RIA Novosti, Yulia developed documentary films for the Internet, as well as web documentaries, which were awarded with international prizes.
In 2014, the documentary film "Degen" was nominated for the National Prize in the category of non-fiction film and television, the Laurel Branch (Prize) "LAVR".
Yulia lectures on cinema and multimedia video at the Higher School of
Economics and other institutions.
In 2011 the short fiction film "One" written and directed by Yulia, featuring famous Russian actress Alisa Grebenshchikova, became the winner in the short film competition at the Shanghai Film Festival
