Carlos P. Beltran is an Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
Before making the move to exclusively producing and directing features, Beltran worked as a journalist and producer at NBC News' social documentary unit (former NBC Left Field). His award-winning work has been featured in major U.S. based networks, including National Geographic, Discovery Networks, ABC News, NBC News, The Atlantic and Univision. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Beltran's documentary work focuses on social and policy-driven stories, from family separations in the U.S. to drug trafficking in South America.
Since 2021 Carlos P. Beltran has been the Head of Development at 21 Global Studios, INC, a production house based in Miami, FL Co-founded by former NBA veteran, Greivis Vasquez.
