Grace Ingland is a professional actor in theatre, film & television with a background in music, education, and directing. She is currently SAG-Eligible and is represented by Esprit Talent Agency (LA) and STARS The Agency (SF).
*** Grace began her formal training in acting while attending a performing arts high school in San Francisco, California. She moved to Los Angeles to study theatre, film and television at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and appeared in several musicals and webisodes, earning her SAG eligibility. After returning from a contract aboard Disney Cruise Lines, she signed with Stars the Agency and was featured in several local Bay Area commercials and industrials, even appearing in a national commercial for Toyota alongside Lt. Joe Kenda from Discovery ID's Homicide Hunter. Grace has been cast as the lead in several independent Bay Area short films including "The Painful Side of the Pillow" by Darva Campbell, and "Dreams We Share" by Evan Wiedenkeller, voted "Best in Festival" and earning her laurels with "Best Performance" at the Bright Idea's Film Festival in Concord. She recently returned to Los Angeles and was cast as Snowhite in the original musical production at the Santa Monica Playhouse.
Throughout the years, Grace has become the education host to a multitude of museums across California, presenting and performing at educational events, parties, and conferences. A lover of informal education, she has been the lead educator in several summer camps, including Kidspace Children's Museum, Tom Sawyer Camps B.L.A.S.T. program and the California Science Center, and has lead scores of school groups at the Griffith Park Observatory. An alumni of the Careers in Science Youth Intern Program, Grace returned to the California Academy of Sciences to teach Improvisation and Visitor Engagement techniques to the Teen Advocates for Science Communication (TASC) teen program. In 2015, she co-presented at the International Museum Theatre Alliance national conference and has been an active member of the Museum Theatre community ever since.
Grace has worked with several musical artists in the Bay Area, including music producer Charles Samson IV, pop group Stereo Chemistry, rock and roll band Bad Mother Nature, and rap artist Agravi. She has played the lead role in several musicals, including Louisa in The Fantastiks, Snowhite in Snowhite, Sally Brown in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and understudied for Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde.
