Katie Silverman was born in Los Angeles and is the daughter of Michelle Kuznetsky, a music supervisor, and Adam Silverman, Private Banker. She has a younger sister , Ashley Silverman also a young actress.
Katie started acting at the age of 4 when she first appeared on the stage in a production of Peter Pan playing the role of Michael. By age six she was cast to play Young Amelia on ABC's Private Practice (2011),
Katie has appeared in many television shows, movies and commercials most notably the "Like Father Like Daughter " campaign Toys R Us for Star Wars Force Awakens Commercial , New Girl), Happy Endings and General Hospital.
Katie's love of singing, acting and dancing came together on stage when at age 12 she was cast and played the role of Jackie Bouvier in Michael Wilson's production of "Grey Gardens" at the Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson in Los Angeles (2016).
