James Glyn

Classically trained actor James Glyn joined the National Youth Theatre in 2016, studied at The Boris Schukin Theatre Institute in Moscow, and spent two years at The Poor School in London. A member of BAFTA Cymru, James has experience in corporate, theatre, film, and audio.
He received excellent reviews for his work in Tom Drayton's Like Lions at The Bread & Roses Theatre and has played lead roles in the award-winning short The C.R.O.W.D. and How to Take a Nude, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival, screened at BFI IMAX, and was selected for the BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying London Short Film Festival.
However, his favourite role to date was portraying Lance Corporal Tom Sharples as part of Jeremy Deller's commemorative performance event We're Here Because We're Here, marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
