James Glyn

Classically trained actor James Glyn joined the National Youth Theatre in 2016, studied at The Boris Schukin Theatre Institute in Moscow, and trained at The Poor School in London. A member of BAFTA Cymru, James has experience across theatre, film, and audio.
He has played lead roles in the award-winning short The C.R.O.W.D. and How to Take a Nude, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival, screened at BFI IMAX, and was selected for the BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying London Short Film Festival. James also received excellent reviews for his performance in Tom Drayton's Like Lions at The Bread & Roses Theatre.
One of his notable roles was portraying Lance Corporal Tom Sharples in Jeremy Deller's commemorative performance event We're Here Because We're Here, marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
James is featured in Torchwood: Ianto's Inferno and was nominated for two awards at the 2025 One Voice Awards.
