Based in New York City, Jason Cicci has been working in the entertainment industry for decades, making his mark as a writer, producer and teaching artist.
His independent production company, Monday Morning Productions, has produced new works by established playwrights featuring award-winning performers. MMP has also been a platform to produce his own works, including his popular web series "He's With Me". The show has been nominated for numerous awards and has been chosen as official selections of the Independent Series Awards, The LA Web Fest, The Denver Film Festival and the Rome Web Awards. Both seasons, offered on YouTube, OutTV and Dekkoo and is offered for sale on Amazon. His series "Cady Did", created for Tony Award Winner Cady Huffman debuts soon.
His short film, "A Conversational Place, directed by Bob Giraldi and starring Emmy Award Winner Marilyn Sokol, has been an official selection by many film festivals across the country, including Miami Short Film Festival, Atlanta ShortsFest, OUTrageous Film Festival of Santa Barbara, FilmColumbia and DAMN! Film Series. The film won a Gold Spotlight Award and an Award of Merit, Best Actress (Marilyn Sokol) and Best Screenplay (Jason Cicci) by the One-Reeler Short Film Competition.
An accomplished producer, Jason has also produced the shorts "Superfriends" (also writer), "New Year's Eve at Sunny's" and "The Whisperer".
