Jaxodus for Gucci
Jaxodus Roman Pyle is an American actor known for his eccentricity both in the shots and behind the scenes. He was born on a winter Wednesday, January 5, 1983, the first child of Mary Gwendolyn Pyle, R.D. (née Browning) and Vietnam War veteran Sgt. David Eugene Pyle of the 105th United States Army Signal Corps. JAXODUS grew up with his younger brother Ryan Christopher Pyle in the refined Highlands area of Louisville, Kentucky. He played little league baseball as a kid and wrestled in high school for the Providence Pioneers (a 2001 alumnus) across the bridge in Southern Indiana.

His early performing arts career began in New York City off-off-Broadway theatre and taking small roles on legacy broadcast television shows including One Life to Live (1968) and Law & Order (1990), winning himself a Ron Millkie Award for Best Actor Performance in 2001. The following summer, JAXODUS kicked off his Hollywood debut when he was featured in two MTV top-chart music videos: as a rebel in frontman Jared Leto's 30 Seconds to Mars: Capricorn (A Brand New Name) (2002) and a boxer in "Dirty" by Christina Aguilera.

After a few scene studies and expression sessions under the instruction of Bobbie Shaw Chance, the young actor landed both a general meeting with casting director Mali Finn and a featured role in 10 Attitudes (2001). Agent John Shea booked him for a regional commercial in Winter 2023 back in NYC to represent the less than 3% White population of Bronx College's student body. Several years later, JAXODUS took the field with Ray Liotta to film Chasing 3000 (2010), rebelled with Charlie Hunnam on the series pilot of Sons of Anarchy (2008) and supported Armie Hammer in Billy: The Early Years (2008).

In 2009, his extreme brand GOOMBY teamed up with After-School All-Stars, a nonprofit organization led by Arnold Schwarzenegger, to help keep urban children safe and influence happy futures. Next was a grassroots campaign in Philadelphia to graffiti back home. Then a stint in the festival hit The Paper Tiger (2013) to directing Almost Ruined (2018). Childhood pal Major Dodge cast JAXODUS in the punk epic Bomb City (2017), a film awarded in double-digits and showcasing Marilyn Manson.

Visually, JAXODUS claims to pull a great deal of inspiration from his mentors Christopher Ciccone and Anthony Pontrello. Narratively, he plots like his cousins Ward Joseph Pyle (author of Zeke: Stage One) and Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist Ernie Pyle. Similar to Ernie's notable column-formatted writings for the Scripps Howard Newspaper Syndicate as the voice of the fighting man in World War II, JAXODUS writes "Volumes" to exemplify his multifaceted thoughts and loud nature, stemmed from an excess dose of passion. He's illustrious for mixing anecdotal expression into published works via complex hero theory. His first name Jaxodus (eng. John-David or portmanteau Joda) is Vulgar Latin meaning "dreamer of the Roman gods" (fictor deorum) or "bright as a star" (clara sicut stella). Seemingly seemly to his actual character, personality aside, being a descendant of Roman statesman Gaio Giulio Cesare.

Of the more normal and formal, JAXODUS holds an Associate of Science in Production from Los Angeles Film School and studied Pre-law at Bellarmine University. He is the father of Iris Gweneth Pyle and married to Savannah Faith Pyle (née Wilson). They live in Hollywood together with Roman the Dog and Precious the Unicorn.
