Eric Raphael Mizrahi is an Israeli cinematographer whose journey into the world of visual storytelling began at the age of 13, with his mother's film camera in hand. What started as a teenage hobby soon blossomed into a lifelong passion. During high school, Eric and his friends made short films, and this creative spark led him to pursue formal education at the Ort Psagot Film and Television School.
Determined to turn his passion into a profession, Eric dedicated himself to mastering the art of cinematography. His hard work paid off when he won two prestigious cinematography awards, including the Vilko Filac Award for Best Cinematography for his work on the short film "Ave Maria." This project not only won accolades but was also nominated for an Oscar in 2016 in the "Live Action" category, garnering over 13 awards and 23 nominations.
Eric's career continues to evolve, and he's now stepping into the world of feature films. His first big-budget full-length comedy, "A Gaza Weekend," shot with an English production team, Palestinians and Israeli family. is set to be released soon.
