Jurassic World 3 will be a “science thriller” according to director Colin Trevorrow

The director of Jurassic World 3 has said that the movie will fall into the “science thriller” sub-genre.

Colin Trevorrow, who is returning to direct Jurassic World 3 after being the man who sat in the director’s chair for Jurassic World, has commented on how the Jurassic films should be categorised.

With Jurassic Word: Fallen Kingdom soon to be upon us, which Trevorrow played a part in writing, he spoke to Entertainment Weekly about how the third film separates itself from the rest:

“If I could contextualize each film, I would say Jurassic World was an action adventure, Fallen Kingdom is kind of a horror suspense film, and Jurassic World 3 will be a science thriller in the same way that Jurassic Park was.”

Many fans might be thinking to themselves after hearing those comments that Jurassic World was actually pretty close tonally to Jurassic Park so it’s

New Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Trailer Stomps Online

“These creatures were here before us. And if we’re not careful, they’re gonna be here after.”

That’s Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) there, bringing some much-needed wisdom and common sense to the immense new trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Yes, it’s finally here, and it promises some epic dino action to come this summer. Seemingly taking on more of a horror vibe, all the franchise staples are still intact, with larger-than-life set pieces (Blue vs. the Indoraptor!) being in plentiful supply and even a bit of humor sprinkled in throughout all the thrills. Because even when he’s pinned against a steel container by a sleepy T-rex, Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady is still able to crack a joke or two.

Set four years after the calamitous events of Jurassic World, in which the famous resort succumbed to dino-infested anarchy, Fallen Kingdom has some very big

Seeing a fully-functioning dinosaur Disneyland appealed to viewers all around the world and now, we're just a few months away from seeing the next installment. While this movie may run the risk of seeming a bit obligatory to some, it certainly looks as though this will be quite a bit different, in that it will be much scarier and will be bringing dinosaurs to the mainland.

Director J.A. Bayona has a history with horror, having directed The Orphanage, as well as a couple of episodes of Penny Dreadful. Based on this new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom footage, it looks very much like he's bringing those sensibilities to this movie. While dinosaurs eating people

Isla Nublar Erupts On Fiery Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Poster; Trailer Due Tomorrow

There’s a new Fallen Kingdom trailer on the horizon, and it’ll be with us very soon indeed.

As promised, Universal has confirmed plans to launch its third and presumably final trailer for Jurassic World 2 tomorrow, April 18th, by which point we ought to have a better understanding of the sequel’s plot and its genetically modified beastie.

Because if you thought the Indominus Rex was scary, you ain’t seen nothing yet. This time around, the crazed scientists of Isla Nublar and inGen have cooked up something much more sinister. Its name? The Indoraptor, a miniaturized version of its rampaging predecessor that is every bit as intelligent and deadly as Rex 2.0.

And though it doesn’t feature on the newly-unveiled poster for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, tomorrow’s trailer will surely offer up a better look at what is essentially the sequel’s chief antagonist, one who will

New Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer classified, expected to arrive with Avengers: Infinity War

It looks like we’ll soon get another peek at this summer’s fifth entry in the Jurassic Park franchise, with Trailer-Track reporting that a third trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been classified.

The new trailer for the J.A. Bayona-directed sequel will run for 2 minutes and 30 seconds; at this point, it’s unclear when it will arrive, but speculation is suggesting that it could be attached to Avengers: Infinity War, similar to how the trailer for Jurassic World accompanied Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Another possibility however is Dwayne Johnson’s giant monster movie Rampage, which opens this week.

In the meantime, you can watch the first trailer here, and the second trailer here.
