Meade Skelton

Meade Skelton Haufe, otherwise known as "Meade Skelton", was born April
8th, 1979, and grew up in Loudoun County, Virginia. He began playing
music at a very early age. He moved to his late mother's hometown of
Richmond, Virginia at age 18, and quickly got involved in the music
scene, playing with such bands as The Floating Folk Festival, The Kate
Lawtown Band, and The Gravity Hounds. He is a singer/songwriter in the
Alternative Country Music market who has released both albums and
single releases. He has been featured in many write ups for his music,
also including "Death and Taxes", by Ned Hepburn, who deemed Meade
"outsider coffee shop Country music". His Countrypolitan demeanor
reflects his smooth style. He has album and single releases and
continues to perform live as well as appearing in television and film
and voice over work. He has done music videos including for his most
beloved and popular song "Sweet Tea". His most well known songs include
"Nicole, Will You Marry Me? (for actress Nicole Kidman), "Hipsters Ruin
Everything", "Sweet Tea" "Fat No More" and "From The Outside Looking
In".
