Jason A. Kessler

Jason Kessler's screenplay about the famous artist M.C. Escher was featured on the 2018 Black List. Jason earned a screenwriting MFA from UT Austin where he was the recipient of the Robert Foshko Prize in Screenwriting, and where he wrote and directed the award-winning short film Death by Script (2017). Before film school, Jason was a lawyer in New York focused on advertising and entertainment clients, and he also worked as a tech executive and management consultant. Jason studied neuroscience and computer science at Princeton University, and graduated with highest honors from Columbia Law School. He has worked as a writer's assistant for HBO for a Game of Thrones prequel created by Max Borenstein, and for CBS on Season 5 of the show Madam Secretary (2014).
