April A Taylor is an Author and Dark Art photographer from Detroit, MI. Her books include the The Haunting of Cabin Green, the Alexa Bentley Paranormal Mysteries Series, and the Midnight Myths and Fairy Tales Series. Her debut horror novel, The Haunting of Cabin Green, was named one of the Best Horror Books of 2018 by PopSugar and Inquisitr.
Her photography has been exhibited and published internationally in a wide variety of art galleries, books, magazines, movies, and events, including Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy and CathARTic. In June 2010 she was named the first ever Artist of the Month by Detroit area radio station 93.9 FM.
Her Dark Art line has received rave reviews from genre actors/actresses within the horror industry, including the following from Lisa Wilcox (the actress who played Alice in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5), "April's work captures the seduction of horror."
Her work has also been featured on more than two dozen different horror websites, including Fangoria.com who said, "...[enough] blood and women in peril to satisfy even the most voracious of gore-lovin' eyeballs."
