Federico Conforti is an award-winning film and television editor best known for his work on They Call Me Jeeg (Lo Chiamavano Jeeg Robot), a cult phenomenon in Italy that was nominated for 16 David di Donatello Awards and won 7, including Best Editing.
He grew up in the seaside city of Livorno in Tuscany, Italy and developed his passion for storytelling while performing with local theater troupes. He graduated from the University of Pisa with a degree in Cinema, Music & Theater and went on to hone his cutting skills at post houses in Rome for several years before expanding to Los Angeles, where he is now based.
While his expertise spans feature films, documentaries, scripted series, and branded content, he loves to bring a cinematic approach to every project he touches.
Federico's work has earned numerous accolades, including a 2020 Emmy nomination and a 2021 Webby Award for Almost Famous (New York Times Op-Docs, Breakwater Studios). He won a 2021 Webby Award for Blood Rider (Google). Defying Gravity: The Untold Story of Women's Gymnastics (All3 Media, YouTube Originals) was nominated for a 2021 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Editing. His work on That's My Jazz won the 2020 People's Voice Webby Award for Best Editing.
