Stephen Gallacher

Stephen is a multi-award-winning Blackpool born, London living director with ten years of experience in the industry. His short films have screened at Academy Award, Canadian Screen Award, BIFA & BAFTA qualifying festivals including Edmonton, Kino Film Festival & Carmarthen Bay.

Stephen has worked on several award-winning shows, including being the 2nd Assistant Director on Fleabag season 2, the crowd 3rd Assistant Director on The Crown season 2, and 2nd Assistant Director on The Girl Before. He also directed 2nd unit on BBC's London Kills season 4 and Amazon's Fifteen-Love, where he was also the assistant producer.

Stephen is proud to have been mentored by esteemed Peter Hoar, the director of It's A Sin and The Last of Us episode 3, through the Directors UK Inspire Scheme. Under his guidance, Stephen has further refined his craft and expanded his vision as a director.

As a director, Stephen has had the pleasure of working with talented actors such as Aidan Turner, Olivia Colman, Phyllis Logan & Dermot Crowley. His love for storytelling drives him to collaborate closely with actors and writers to create the best possible drama.

Stephen's passion lies in the creation of socio-political dramas, comedies, and thrillers, and he is always on the lookout for innovative ways to explore these themes through his work. With his exceptional eye for shots, he brings his vision to life on screen and creates a dynamic and engaging experience for audiences.
