Danny J. Lee
- Actor
Danny Lee is a lifelong Angeleno who has spent most of his life in front of the camera and microphone chasing a dream, especially when it became apparent that he would not be reasonably chasing anyone in a 100m dash on an Olympic level. For the last 15 years, he has traveled over 100,000 miles as an on-camera talent, economy class only.
His love of the craft took him to UCLA, where he studied broadcasting and screenwriting, indulging his media jones by becoming a high-profile media presence with the school's TV and radio stations and writing for the prestigious Daily Bruin, in addition to penning arcane historical reference on the walls of the campus's revered stalls.
After matriculating from Westwood, Danny's energetic style and attention to the smallest detail led him to become a hosting talent with worldly renown. His presence became synonymous with the World University Games, where he covered events in Turkey, Russia, Italy, Spain and South Korea. On his visit to Russia, he almost was tackled by a security guard for getting too close to the president of Tatarstan.
He was heard on Los Angeles radio for a spell as a contributor on AM 570 and his face was seen across many major broadcast television networks, including CBS, NBC Universal, ESPN and Fox.
Over the last couple years, Danny Lee has begun to further diversify his talents as a host, lending his acumen and pointed humor to sports and entertainment media. In addition, he has begun to work as a voiceover actor, having studied with highly regarded VO instructors Nancy Wolfson, Bill Holmes and Ed Cunningham. He has also honed his writing skill, authoring 11 feature-length screenplays which, when not being read, make for great coasters and kindling on cold winter nights.
Through it all, Danny's versatility has ranged from on-camera work to spokesperson roles, live announcing, promos, commercials and podcasting.
To this day, Danny continues to live in Los Angeles, still in pursuit of new horizons and traffic snarls.
