Alex Kipman, the inventor of the Xbox 360 motion sensor control, Kinect, played himself in the 2011 movie Ctrl+Alt+Complete.

Kipman is an award-winning engineer, developer, and technology fellow based in Seattle, Washington. Born in Brazil, Kipman was the lead developer of the Microsoft HoloLens smart glasses. He has been recognized by Time, Forbes, Popular Mechanics, and the Smithsonian for his contributions to the fields of technology and virtual reality. His Ted Talk in 2016 on Holograms has over 4 Million views on Youtube.

When interviewed, Alex Kipman takes the most pride in being in charge of numerous key industrial turning points throughout the years, and the Intellectual Property Owners Association even named him Inventor of the Year (IPO).

Kipman has a solid educational background supported by academic accomplishments and practical experiences. He had the opportunity to learn from some of the best and brightest while attending some of the best colleges in the world. He learned what it really meant to identify problems and solve them via innovation by working with some of the best minds in the area. He had the opportunity to work on a project that no one else knew about, and he realized that he wanted to experience that feeling for himself. He made the decision to devote his life to enhancing and altering human experiences for the better because of this.
