Austyn Shull
- Additional Crew
- Production Manager
- Writer
I love to create worlds and create connections through worlds that were previously written to stand solo. When I first started writing stories, I would write tiny micro stories that weren't much more than summaries with an entertaining Twilight Zone feel (the "One Dimension Over" stories). Then I began the ME letter (which starts the "Unfathomable Existence" book), where I combined several ideas that I had that were going to be micro stories and mashed them into one weird story. I started this with the goal to have something unique to give my mom and grandma on Mother's Day. They both loved it, and that was the first LONG story I wrote.
I've since only written longer form stories; I just can't cease an idea after one page anymore. I always feel that I must combine the idea with another and let the story play out over multiple pages, rather than just jump start one's imagination.
I also have a few books that use my middle name. Austyn R is mostly utilized to create the horrific immaturity that lies within the gory and ridiculous pages of the book series "Blink Psychopath."
These abominations are crafted in a way that required a new personality in order to pass the blame...
While the Austyn Shull persona enjoys creating magical Sci-Fi worlds, the Austyn R persona likes to tear them down and wreak unwavering destruction to all within it.
The "R" came about when I wrote and recorded comedy cds that just didn't scream, "Mom, listen to this!"
Sometime later... I began cannibalizing my old projects to create "Blink Psychopath," in which I don't just cannibalize old scripts and story ideas but weave them into one perfectly psychotic world. They are kept in script format, because I wanted to do something new, and the visuals worked best this way, but the 3rd season/book explores another format, which is even better than the scripted chaos.
I hope this hastily written bio helps convince you to read my books. I like superheroes and the supernatural, and I think all my books show that love. With all my projects, I write the way I like to write. If the story is enjoyable for me, then I'm sure it will entertain others. If not, my mistake..."
