President and founder of Zion Film Artistry, Key Makeup Artist Heloisa Barroso also known as "Lola" on set, has been in the entertainment industry for nearly a decade.
Her influences have sprung from some of the best Artists and Designers in the business to date. Heloisa obtained her Diploma for Makeup Artistry at "Last looks Makeup Academy" under the guidance of "Saturday Nite Lives' " Senior Key Makeup Artist Mitch Ely and began fiddling with wardrobe while working as an Assistant Manager for Designer Todd Oldham in his Soho boutique. Heloisa also assisted the Designer during the debut of his jean collection at the 2002 Fall Fashion Week as part of his Makeup/Hair team together with Senior Celebrity Hair Stylist LV Flores of Mario Nico's Salon in Chelsea, also interned under Designer/Actress Roberta Thompson for her Wicked Threads line Fashion shows as Key Makeup/Hair.
Years of experience combined with her down to earth charismatic personality has been the driving force that helped Heloisa's transition to film easily acceptable by some of the best talents in the indie film industry. Today Heloisa continues pushing her artistic boundaries to the limit, an aspiring writer recently working on her first feature screenplay and directorial debut "The Carnival is over", docudrama; Writer, producer, director " Methadone Heaven" and short: writer, producer, director "Silent New York". She gives back to the industry she loves by mentoring recent makeup school grads, giving them the opportunity to intern under her guidance at Zion.
