Award-winning actress, director and writer. Studied Screenwriting and Producing on a full scholarship at UCLA, and recently completed the Masters in Film Directing at ESCAC (Spain). Long began her acting career in Japan with the Seinendan Theatre Company. Her first film role was in "Hospitalite" by FUKADA Koji, which won awards at the Tokyo International Film Festival and Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival. She went on to star in "Sayonara" by FUKADA, based on the play by the same name, in which she acted opposite a real android robot. "Sayonara" premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival and IFF Rotterdam, and was released in cinemas in Japan and France to critical acclaim. Long is the first foreign actress to have appeared on stage in Japan both in contemporary theatre and in Yoshimoto's "Shinkigeki", a popular form of Japanese sketch comedy. She is fluent in French, German, English, Japanese and Spanish, and has performed on stage across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.
