John Nicholls' latest work can be seen on the upcoming second season of Accused for Fox and Sony Pictures Television, along with the third season of SkyMed for Paramount+, CBS Studios and the CBC as well as the recently released fourth season of Snowpiercer for AMC, AMC+, CJ Entertainment and Tomorrow Studios. He was also part of the first season of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent for CityTV, Universal Television, Wolf Entertainment, Lark Productions and Cameron Pictures.
Previously in the 2021-2023 production cycle, John had the pleasure of cutting on the first season of Accused for Showrunner Howard Gordon and Producer David Shore, as well as the first and second seasons of SkyMed for Showrunner Julie Puckrin and Piazza Entertainment.
In recent years, John was also a part of Burden of Truth and Nurses from Ilana Frank, Linda Pope, Adam Pettle and Brad Simpson for Global, CBC, CW and eOne, Ransom for CBS, Global, eOne, Big Light Productions and Sienna Films, the CBC/iTV series Little Dog starring Joel Thomas Hynes, Katherine Isabelle and Mary Walsh, produced by Cameron Pictures, Elemental Pictures and Sherry White, the CTV/Netflix mini-series The Indian Detective starring Russell Peters, William Shatner and Anupam Kher for Producer Frank Spotnitz, CTV/Bell Media and Blue Ice Productions, along with many other notable productions.
John Nicholls is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada, an accredited member of the Canadian Cinema Editors, as well as an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre.
