Isabella Andronos is a filmmaker from Sydney, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts (Design) from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts and a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours: Class I) from Sydney College of the Arts. She works as a director and designer.
Her recent directing work includes: Under the Water (2022), Evelyn (Corinthian Food Store Collective, 2020), Monska by C. R. Robin (2020, Nox House Films) and Ice Age by Cilla Jane (2019). For Monska, Isabella was awarded the Women in Film and Television (WIFT) Audience Favourite Award (2021), was nominated for Best Concept at the 2020 Clipped Music Video Awards and was a finalist in the 2020 Frankie Magazine Good Stuff Awards.
Isabella has designed more than seventy-five productions and has been nominated for nine Australian Production Design Guild (APDG) Awards. In 2014 she won the APDG Award for Emerging Live Performance Design for her set design for The Greeks. Her production design credits include Furlough (Directed by Phoebe Tonkin), Strangers (Directed by Jamieson Pearce), Halal Gurls (Directed by Vonne Patiag), The Greenhouse (Directed by Thomas Wilson-White), Tomgirl (Directed by Vonne Patiag), The Obscure (Directed by Tel Benjamin), Man To Man (Directed by James Ward Breen) and Stranger (Directed by Peter Skinner).
