Miguel Nunez(I)

Miguel was born in Miami, FL and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. After studying graphic design, sound engineering, T.V and Film production and having a short but intense rock vocalist career, he began his formal training as an actor in the late 90's in Caracas. After moving back to the USA, he continued to expand his knowledge with years of training in the Meisner technique and Viewpoints in Chicago, where he spent 15 years working in the local and regional theatre scene. He had the chance to act and direct with theatre companies such as A Red Orchid Theatre, 16th Street Theatre, Victory Gardens, Lifeline Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Steep Theatre, Teatro Vista, Water People Theatre and many more. He has performed regionally all over the country, including the Lyric Opera in Chicago, Lincoln Center in New York City, Houston Grand Opera and Creede Repertory Theatre

He's the Winner of Best Actor at the 16th Indie Gathering International Film Festival for his lead role as Gustavo on "Lady of The Dead". He's also been Nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Short Film at 2018 Coachella Official Latino Film and Arts Festival for his role as Victor Junco in the award winning film "Una Mujer Sin Precio (1961)" and for "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play" at the 2021-2022 16th Annual Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards for his role as Roberto in "Guadalupe in The Guest Room" at Colorado Springs Art Center. He has appeared in multiple award winning films, national commercials and been a Guest Star and Co-star in network Television shows.
