It’ll now be remembered as the third and final installment of Ash’s story, and over on Facebook (h/t Bloody Disgusting), Bruce Campbell has shared a heartfelt farewell to Ash Williams, a character he’s since retired, all the while thanking fans for their unwavering support.

Good people, Evil Dead fans everywhere, I bid you a heartfelt farewell playing Ash – the character I took acting lessons with for 39 years. I am hereby retiring from that portrayal. It’s time. I followed Ash from his formative years thru his mid-life crisis and decline.

Castle Rock: Hulu's Darkest Series Yet?

Castle Rock is coming to Hulu this summer and it may well be one of the scariest shows of the year.

Hulu has dropped a brand new teaser trailer for the series, and, boy, it's dark.

What else could we expect from a TV show inspired by Stephen King?

Little is actually known about the series, but the latest teaser gives us our biggest glimpse yet.

The talented cast includes Melanie Lynskey, André Holland, Jane Levy, Sissy Spacek and Bill Skarsgård.

Sissy Spacek's character does not have a lot to say, but what she does say strikes a chord with one of the characters.

“I think that something terrible is going to happen… it’s happening,” she says.

What is the series all about?

Yeah, we would like to know.

King and J.J. Abrams will serve as executive producers, so there's no reason why this will not be Hulu's next big hit.

‘Castle Rock’ Trailer: Andre Holland Goes to Shawshank in Newest Tease of Hulu’s TV Stephen King-iverse

‘Castle Rock’ Trailer: Andre Holland Goes to Shawshank in Newest Tease of Hulu’s TV Stephen King-iverse
Cast impending superstar Andre Holland in the lead role? Check. Make it so that Scott Glenn delivers the opening lines of your Super Bowl spot? Double check. Illuminate anything about what “Castle Rock,” Hulu’s new horror story set in the world of Stephen King’s novels, is actually about? Well, kind of.

Before it drops in front of over 100 million viewers during Sunday’s festivities, Hulu unspooled a tiny bit more of “Castle Rock” lore in a brand new trailer. Another in a line of what’s sure to be an easter egg buffet for King aficionados, this latest look also has an explicit nod to Shawshank (no Rita Hayworth, though), but a handful of vets from prior King adaptations leave plenty still up to speculation.

Aside from the clips in the tease below, we still have very few details about the show, other than its to-be-expected Maine locale

Stephen Lang Reveals That a Don't Breathe Sequel is Going to Happen

Director Fede Alvarez's Don't Breathe was one hell of an intense and jacked-up thriller. I thought it was a solid flick and a fun movie-going experience. It was one of those films where the audience in the theater really got into it, which always makes for an entertaining experience with films like this.

During a recent interview with ScreenRant, actor Stephen Lang confirmed that there's now a sequel that's in development. When we asked if any sequel or prequel talks had taken place, Lang confidently responded, “Oh yeah, we’re doing a sequel.”

The first movie told the story of three young thieves played by Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, and Daniel Zovatto who try to rob a blind war veteran (Lang) but these stupid-ass kids find themselves in a deadly situation where they are in way over their heads. Their robbery attempt turns into a fight for survival.

Hulu Hit The Big Leagues With Its Emmy Win; Here’s How It Will Try To Capitalize On That In 2018

  • Indiewire
Hulu experienced a transformative year in 2017, leading up to the Primetime Emmy Awards that changed everything for the streamer. “The Handmaid’s Tale” won the ultimate prize, Outstanding Drama, giving Hulu the honors of first streamer to take home an outstanding series Emmy — before rivals Netflix and Amazon.

The service also ended the year under new management, as Randy Freer replaced exiting boss Mike Hopkins as the new CEO, while Joel Stillerman left AMC to take on the top programming job. Freer and Stillerman are tasked with expanding Hulu’s scope, and the pressure’s now on to develop more hits that can join “Handmaid’s Tale” in the cultural conversation. But heading into 2018, Freer and Stillerman will also be front and center as the Walt Disney Co. acquisition of Fox’s production assets will include its stake in Hulu. There’s plenty of speculation on what Hulu might be

The Last Word on ‘Don’t Breathe’

Okay, let’s get the first thing straightened, yes, that is rape, the guy in ‘Don’t Breathe‘ is wrong.

Now, onto the-eh, “twist”. First of all, that wasn’t a twist. Seriously, I looked at the back of the DVD case, it said there was a twist, I watched the ending several times over, and thought I missed something,… I finally had to look it up online to see what the hell everybody was talking about, and that’s when I realized, “Oh, that twist?” Does that even count? And, no, I don’t think it rightfully does. And if it does, it’s a twist, in a jokey manner if anything. It’s basically the same punchline from the joke about the guy talking about parking in his car with a date who asks him to put the top down, and his friend wonders why it took his car three hours,

Hailee Steinfeld Wants to Play Barbara Gordon in Joss Whedon's Batgirl Film

It seems like we've still got a long way to go before we see anything from Joss Whedon's Batgirl film. We know that he's still developing it and that Warner Bros. still wants him to do it, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. One thing that fans are anxious about seeing is who will end up being cast in the role of Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl.

One actress that wants to throw her name into the hat is Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Pitch Perfect 2, Bumblebee). During a recent interview with MTV International, Steinfeld was asked about the possibility of playing the character. She was very flattered by the notion and said that she would love to do it.

“Thank you! I’m not going to lie, that’s kind of what I was thinking. But I didn’t know what to say.

Bumblebee And Pitch Perfect 3 Star Hailee Steinfeld Wants To Play Batgirl

There’s a good deal of uncertainty surrounding Batgirl at the moment, and a lot of that stems from the debacle that was Justice League. Due to the pic disappointing both critically and financially, the studio’s now lost faith in Joss Whedon, from what we hear, and are reconsidering letting him direct the aforementioned upcoming project. In fact, we’ve even heard that it might be cancelled outright.

Chalk that up as a rumor for now, but it’s clear that there’s some re-shuffling going on behind the scenes at Warner Bros. and unfortunately, Batgirl may be in trouble. Still, that hasn’t stopped various actresses from throwing their hat into the ring for the titular role and the latest to do so is Bumblebee and Pitch Perfect 3 star Hailee Steinfeld.

While chatting with MTV in a recent interview, the outlet told her that they think she

‘There’s Johnny’ Star Ian Nelson on Hollywood Sexism: No Denying ‘Women Are Treated Differently’

  • The Wrap
Hulu’s new comedy “There’s Johnny” revolves around the behind-the-scenes world of late night television, as witnessed by wide-eyed Hollywood newbie Andy Klavin, played by Ian Nelson. One of the most prominent themes of the show is how abysmally women are treated in the workplace. One character in particular, Joy (Jane Levy), receives the brunt of innuendos and crude jokes from male executives and writers on Johnny Carson’s show, though it’s clear: The nightly broadcast wouldn’t go on without her. There’s no denying it, Nelson told TheWrap in a recent interview: “Women are treated differently than men in the workplace.

Joss Whedon Is Still Directing Batgirl, But That Could Change

Earlier today, just before Hollywood gets ready to shut down for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, an intriguing report surfaced that claimed Warner Bros.' highly-anticipated Batgirl project would no longer have director Joss Whedon at the helm, but it seems that's not true. That report claimed Warner Bros. made the decision "months ago" not to bring Joss Whedon back for Batgirl, after the Justice League reshoots went on far too long, with a controversial letter written by the director's ex-wife reportedly playing a factor in the studio's "decision" to remove him from Batgirl. However, that initial report from a website dubbed Super Bro Movies has been taken down, while another report citing sources close to the production reveal Joss Whedon is still on board to direct Batgirl.

The report stated that Joss Whedon is currently working on the script for this Batgirl movie and that he is still in fact attached to direct.
