Steffen Thum is a German-born composer for film, TV, games and advertising. He is known for his work on feature films Crawl (2019) (Paramount Pictures), Looking Up (2019) and iBoy (2017) (Netflix), among others.
As additional composer, Steffen has worked with Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, Rupert Gregson-Williams and others, providing music for a diverse range of titles, including Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018), Black Widow (2021), Bad Boys for Life (2020), Ad Astra (2019), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), The Crown (2016) and His Dark Materials (2019).
