Adrian Powers is an Australian film and television director, screenwriter and editor, with almost twenty years of experience in the Australian film industry. His work has been seen across the globe, including at the 69th Venice Film Festival, where his film 'Scruples' screened in competition as part of a special collaboration between Sir Ridley Scott, actor Michael Fassbender and YouTube, and during which Scott commented that Adrian and his fellow finalists were "all clearly talents for the industry to watch".

In 2013, Adrian completed work as co-director, co-writer and editor on the WWI feature 'Forbidden Ground', which was released worldwide (including in the U.K. via Entertainment One, and the U.S. via Lionsgate). Adrian has edited thirteen feature films, including 'Skin Deep' (officially selected for the 2014 Austin Film Festival) and 'Rip Tide' (officially selected for the 2017 Sydney Film Festival), as well as the acclaimed TV series 'Starting From Now' and 'A Chance Affair'. In 2020, Adrian co-wrote four episodes of the AACTA and Logie Award nominated Netflix original series, 'Dive Club'.

As a director, writer and editor, Adrian has also worked on hundreds of commercials, music videos, corporate videos and documentaries. He has produced content for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Apple, QANTAS, Universal Music, Yves Saint Laurent, The Guardian, Lonely Planet, Volvo and Google. His latest short film, 'Brolga', has been successful at festivals both at home and internationally, garnering multiple 'Best Film' and 'Best Director' awards, as well as selection by the Australian National Film and Sound Archive for inclusion in its 'Black Screen Collection'. Adrian's latest directorial feature, 'A Royal in Paradise', which he co-wrote with writing partner Caera Bradshaw, is set for release in 2023.
